Fun on the trail

See we do have fun when we stop.  This is Wally playing with an old decrepit railway building or thing. Yeah we are both stupid,  but hey its fun to be dumb every once and a while.  OK so we have the bikes out of the shop and planning two possibly three rides.  One of which fits for this and that is a Lynn Run road ride.  The other two are Breezewood Pa. on the old abandon turnpike. the other is probably just our regular ride on the Greensburg Five Star trail.

Yet another extention to the family

Ok well now the family of bikes consist of a Mongoose Sycamore, a Mongoose Xr 200, a Schwinn Frontier, a Gt Palomar,  and now the new comer is a Pacific Titan. the two  that are in service right now are the Gt and the Schwinn.  the other three are in various stages of rebuild. Either for a resale or possibly for rides in the season to come.

Tune up just in time for end of the season

OK well i had a tune up on the mongoose at the beginning of the season, it was short lived i dismantled it and rebuilt a Gt hard tail with front suspension.  So where the mongoose was a full suspension i just got tired of it.  It is a better down hill bike than a trail bike.  I like this Gt better it is just more fun to ride and it is a smaller frame so that is good for short people like me.

West Penn Trail

This is a picture taken on the West Penn Trail.  The trail head is located technically in Saltsburg, Pa. but there is now an extension that runs to Slickville,  Pa.  The trail ends in Indiana county about 2 miles outside of Blairsville, Pa. All total about 24 miles one way.  We have completed this one way but have yet had the time to run a round trip. We however have made more than one trip on this trail, on the first attempt we had done about 10 miles when my chain broke.  After about a half hour using a cheap chain breaker and breaking said tool i managed to limp my bike back 10 miles to the car.  So all said and done in just this season we rode 48 miles on just this trail..
